Clinical and Research Experience:
2010 [Present] Ph.D. level PRACTICUM/Internship at ALHAMBRA HOSPITAL under the supervision of Dr. Daudarian. Using psychoanalysis, group analysis, music and activity therapeutic tools to work with individuals struggling with severe trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders and mania.
2009-2010 Ph.D. level training at CAL FAM Counseling Center under the supervision of Dr. Ann Elkin. Using Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral, Music Therapy and Humanistic Psychology tools.
2010 – Personal work with Dr. Robert Romanyshyn on a research/therapeutic DVD program titled “Antarctica”. Work included using music and images as a therapeutic experience to make inquiries into the nature of the psyche and its healing applications to clients struggling with psychological challenges.
2008 [Present] Ph.D. level education in Clinical Psychology. 1997 “Homeless Dreams” – Dissertation project at New York University that included working with and interviewing homeless people and discussed their dream content and how it applied to Freud’s “Condensation” theory. How sound impacts dream content. This was documented on Video.
